GAP Analysis | Contruction

A health and safety management audit, or GAP Analysis, is a detailed assessment of your current levels of compliance and management. This will highlight areas for improvement, in terms of a developing and improving an effective health and safety management system, for you, your workers and your workplace. In short, this process highlights where management of occupational health and safety (OHAS) risks are suitable and effective, and where they can be managed better.

With the best will in the world, and with the good intentions of Directors and senior managers, sometimes you just don't know, what you don't know.

A health & safety GAP analysis will provide a baseline of current compliance and allow you, to develop a robust strategy for continual improvement.

This is the undying ethos of every effective OHAS management system and is the principle behind, OHSAS 18001, and more recently ISO 45001 accreditations, for example.
